Job Overview:
ALS Testing Services India Private Limited is seeking a meticulous and analytical Chemist in Bangalore, India, to perform various laboratory tests and analyses on samples while ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards. This Fresher Chemist Job involves sample preparation and analysis across Food & Agricultural products, AYUSH Products, Marine/Aquaculture, Nutraceuticals &
; Functional Foods, Animal Food & Feeds, and other matrices at the Central lab using applicable national and international methods.Key Responsibilities:
- Sample preparation and analysis of chemical and nutritional parameters in food & agricultural products, AYUSH products, marine/aquaculture, nutraceuticals & functional foods, and animal feeds.
- Ensure the availability and procurement of all consumables and solvents required for analysis.
- Calibration and maintenance of instruments used in the laboratory for analysis as per the set procedure.
- Conduct intermediate checks for calibration of instruments.
- Prepare control charts and trend quality check samples.
- Maintain all laboratory records for calibration, sample preparation, and environmental conditions.
- Ensure minimal downtime of instruments.
- Maintain impartiality and confidentiality in all activities carried out at ALS.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- 0-3 years of experience in a commercial testing laboratory or a relevant industrial setting.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various analytical instruments.
- Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.
- Excellent data interpretation, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
