Job Description
The JRF will work on a project titled “Development of a high-throughput dynamic compression–shear bioreactor to
mimic in vivo knee-joint biomechanics for cartilage regeneration.” This role involves significant research and development in biomedical engineering, particularly focusing on mechanical testing and material characterization. Candidates selected for JRF jobs will contribute to innovative solutions in healthcare technology.Responsibilities
- Conduct research on cartilage regeneration and biomechanics.
- Develop and test prototypes of biomedical devices.
- Perform mechanical testing of materials and hydrogels.
- Engage in computational modeling related to the project.
- Collaborate with team members and report findings.
- Prepare documentation and presentations for project updates.
- Assist in the publication of research results.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in basic science or Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering.
- Selection through NET/GATE or other national-level examinations.
- Desirable: Background in Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemical, Aerospace, Instrumentation Engineering, or Biotechnology.
- Experience in biomedical devices and instrumentation is encouraged.
