Job Description:
The Volvo Powertrain vacancy seeks a passionate individual to join the engineering team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will focus on aftertreatment system simulation, collaborating with colleagues to develop 1D flow models and
run simulations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to continuous professional development. Candidates will work in a cross-functional environment, utilizing state-of-the-art tools and methods to solve complex problems in the automotive industry.- Develop 1D flow models and run simulations.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations based on simulations.
- Collaborate with international teams to enhance project outcomes.
- Utilize simulation tools such as GT-SUITE or AVL Boost.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
- Contribute to innovative projects in the powertrain domain.
- Support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to drive improvements.
Eligibility Criteria
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in 1D simulation and analysis of IC engines and/or Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems.
- Experience with component and system simulations.
- Knowledge of combustion systems and parameters.
- Familiarity with Python scripts for automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
