Job Details
- Position: Project Assistant (PA)
- Location: New Delhi
- Project Title: Bulk Synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and Its Application in Sustainable Atmospheric CO₂ Sequestration Devices
- Duration: Two years
- Fellowship Amount: Rs. 27,000/- + 30% HRA (Total Rs. 35,100/-)
- Eligibility Requirements: Master’s Degree or 3-year Diploma in Environmental Chemistry/Chemistry (NET or GATE qualification is not compulsory)
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped)

Job Description
The Project Assistant will support the research project focused on the synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and their applications in sustainable CO₂ sequestration devices. This govt chemistry job offers a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge chemistry research under the guidance of experienced faculty at JNU. The selected candidate will contribute to various aspects of the project, including experimental design, data collection, and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs).
- Conduct experiments and analyze data related to CO₂ sequestration.
- Maintain accurate records of research findings.
- Collaborate with team members on project-related tasks.
- Prepare reports and presentations on research progress.
- Participate in meetings and discussions regarding project development.
- Support the Principal Investigator in administrative tasks.
- Engage in literature reviews and stay updated on relevant research.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree or 3-year Diploma in Environmental Chemistry/Chemistry.
- NET or GATE qualification is not compulsory.
- Age limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxable for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped).
