Job Description
The Executive Job at Henkel Careers is designed for professionals looking for a Chemical Engineering Job in environmental health and safety. The Executive – SHE will implement safety standards, conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, perform workplace inspections, maintain SHE documentation, and promote
safe manufacturing practices while supporting operational excellence at the Pune facility.Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Henkel SHE (Safety, Health and Environmental) standards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and Henkel SHE standards.
- Conduct hazard identification & risk assessments (HIRA / JSA).
- Oversee safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
- Implement 5S standards at the workplace.
- Conduct shift safety inspections and audits.
- Maintain SOPs, work permits, and SHE-related documents.
- Coordinate emergency response in the shift.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum experience of 3 years.
- Science Graduate or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- Experience in chemical safety and compliance protocols.
- Basic understanding of chemical hazards.
- Incident investigation skills.
- Good communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently in shifts.
Required Skills
- Risk assessment techniques (HAZOP, JSA, HIRA).
- Quick response during emergencies.
- Coordination with technical teams.
- Knowledge of PPE standards and usage.
