Job Overview:
Enveda is hiring a Lab Assistant – Night Shift for its Hyderabad facility. This Chemistry Freshers Jobs opportunity is open to B.Sc. Chemistry graduates with 0–2 years of experience. The selected candidate will support overnight laboratory operations by monitoring experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring laboratory safety, preparing consumables, documenting activities, and assisting research teams to ensure
smooth scientific operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor overnight reactions, experiments, and laboratory equipment to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
- Perform safety checks, respond to alarms or incidents, and escalate issues when required.
- Monitor temperature-sensitive storage units and manage backup storage transfers when necessary.
- Maintain chemical and glassware inventories and identify items requiring replenishment.
- Prepare laboratory consumables, including TLC plates and staining reagents, for day-shift activities.
- Document overnight activities and provide clear handover notes to the incoming team.
- Collaborate with day-shift researchers to support project objectives and laboratory readiness.
Educational Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Skills Required:
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and make sound decisions during night shifts.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
