Job Overview:
AECOM Careers is hiring an Environmental Database Manager to support its Environmental Data Management team in Bengaluru. This Freshers Job is suitable for candidates with 0–4 years of experience who have a background in environmental engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, or environmental science. The role focuses on environmental data management
, reporting, database systems, and supporting global environmental projects through digital data solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will be able to understand requests from environmental subject matter experts.
- Be a good communicator able to share new functions and features with the users and have a good understanding of environmental data and environmental data terminology.
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Prepare and update environmental associated reports basically sound in understanding environmental data, transforming, and analyzing large and diversified environmental datasets.
- Ability to translate environmental problems through digital and data solutions. Commitment to data quality at all levels and scales.
- Experience in developing custom reports and user-requested queries and views on various platforms of the desired skill set.
- Responsive to client (user) requests. Excellent communication skills
Eligibility Criteria for this Freshers Job:
- Education: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in environmental/civil/chemical engineering or science in a related discipline (or similar subject) desirable with a required focus on Environmental Data.
- Experience: 0-4 years of experience working in the environmental domain and preferably have relevant experience with environmental data.
Required Skills for this Freshers Job:
- Strong understanding of environmental data and terminology.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases for data transformation.
- Experience with MS SQL Server and MS Access.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as EarthSoft’s EQuIS™, EIM, ESdat.
- Familiarity with EQuIS sub-tools (Collect, Edge, ArcGIS desirable).
- Intermediate to expert level understanding of Office 365, Excel, Power Query & Power Automation.
- Visualization tools like Power BI (desirable).
- Programming experience (Python, R), and understanding of Data engineering, AI/ML, and Data science (desirable).
