Job Description
The Quality Control Officer (Officer – QA/QC) will be responsible for performing laboratory testing and quality control activities
at the Dahej Plant. The role involves in-process, raw material, and finished product testing, laboratory analysis, and instrument calibration to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. The selected candidate will maintain QA/QC documentation, coordinate preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment, and support manufacturing operations. This Chemistry Job requires hands-on experience in analytical chemistry, polymer testing, batch operations, and laboratory management within the chemical or polymer industry.Responsibilities
- Perform in-process, raw material, and finished product sampling and testing.
- Conduct laboratory analysis for quality control activities.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical laboratory instruments.
- Maintain QA/QC documentation and laboratory records.
- Support ISO 9001 Quality Management System implementation.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with production and plant teams to achieve quality objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: M.Sc. Chemistry (Preferably Analytical Chemistry) / B.Sc. Chemistry / Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.
- Experience: 2–6 years in the chemical industry or polymer industry.
