Job Overview
Lupin is inviting applications for the Research Associate – LCM position at its Pune R&D facility. This Research Associate Job at Lupin involves performing routine analytical testing using chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, and other analytical techniques. The selected candidate will support analytical method transfer, maintain laboratory documentation through LIMS, assist in instrument calibration and validation, ensure laboratory safety

Job Description
- Perform routine tests and experiments on samples using laboratory instruments and equipment, including chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, and other analytical methods.
- Perform the analytical method transfer to different sites.
- Update analysed results in LIMS and inform the supervisor to review and validate LIMS results.
- Detect exceptions or deviations in test results and highlight reports to concern. Proactively communicate to the lab in charge for any abnormal samples or non-receipt of routine samples as per schedule.
- Assist in the calibration, validation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure validity of test results.
- Dispose of leftover samples safely as per laboratory practices and procedures.
- Conduct inspection of received routine samples and distribution of samples as per type of analysis to the different sections of the laboratory.
- Workplace Safety, Audit & Compliance. Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and guidelines at all times and ensure personnel as well as the safety of assets.
- Handle hazardous materials and chemicals with utmost care and dispose as per the set guidelines and protocols.
- Keep yourself familiar with the industry regulations, standards, and protocols and ensure all lab activities comply with these requirements.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Group Leader.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Education: Master’s in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry
