Job Overview
Aragen is hiring Research Associate/Senior Research Associate for its Discovery Chemistry – Synthesis R&D department in Bangalore. This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking Research Associate Jobs, Organic Chemistry Jobs, and MSc Chemistry Jobs in pharmaceutical research. Applicants should hold an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry with 3–7 years of experience, preferably in CROs. The role
involves executing chemical reactions, synthesizing compounds, maintaining laboratory records, ensuring data integrity, interpreting analytical results using NMR and LCMS, and working with automated synthesizers while following good laboratory practices.- Department: Synthesis R&D

Responsibilities:
- Executing chemical reactions in mg to gm scale and synthesizing required quantities of molecules/compounds as per client specifications using efficient routes and techniques.
- Ensure safety at work through enforcement of good laboratory practices.
- Maintain records, Data Integrity, and IP specifications.
- Purification of compounds & their interpretation by analytical techniques- NMR, LCMS.
- Experience in handling automated synthesizers and purification is desirable.
- Expertise in writing an Electronic Lab Notebook.
