Job Overview
PI Industries Careers invites applications for the position of Research Scientist – Process Technology at its Udaipur R&D facility. The selected Research Scientist will be responsible for developing assigned projects within the specified timelines while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
. Responsibilities include literature surveys, bench-scale experiments, SOP preparation, process optimization, impurity characterization, process validation, technology transfer, and coordination with Process Development (PD), Quality Control (QC), and pilot plant teams. - Understand project objectives, chemistry, and MSDS requirements.
- Conduct literature searches and route scouting.
- Plan bench-scale experiments and optimize chemical processes.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with QC for analytical development and sample testing.
- Characterize impurities and identify critical process parameters.
- Validate chemical processes through reproducible batches.
- Support pilot plant and commercial plant technology transfer.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and housekeeping standards.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and HSE compliance.
- Compile experimental data and maintain project documentation.
- Guide junior scientists and participate in training programs.
Educational Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from a reputed University or Institute
