Job Overview
PI Industries is inviting applications for the position of Research Scientist – Process Engineer in its Process Innovation department at Udaipur, Rajasthan. The selected Research Scientist will work on process chemistry scale-up, synthetic chemistry, engineering calculations, and pilot plant development while supporting innovation projects. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific research and process development activities.
- Perform process chemistry scale-up from laboratory to kilo lab and pilot plant.
- Execute synthetic chemistry experiments safely and efficiently.
- Perform literature searches using Reaxys, SciFinder, and patent databases.
- Carry out engineering calculations including heat load, mass balance, hydraulic calculations, and agitator selection.
- Support product development by incorporating engineering inputs.
- Maintain research documentation according to SOPs.
- Participate in technical discussions and project review meetings.
- Support patent and intellectual property activities.
- Ensure laboratory safety and housekeeping standards.
Educational Requirements
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
