Job Overview:
This Quality Engineer Job is based in Bangalore under Hach’s India Commercial Organization and follows a hybrid work model. The selected candidate will oversee incoming and outgoing material inspections, ensure compliance with engineering specifications, support Factory Acceptance Tests, maintain quality documentation, and
coordinate corrective actions. This Chemical Engineering Job also involves site surveys, vendor coordination, and adherence to ISO management systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming and outgoing material inspection for all the material either received at HACH facility or dispatched.
- Perform incoming material inspection (Inbound Quality) of panels, tubing, fittings, sensors, transmitters, and electrical/mechanical components received from vendors.
- Verify materials against Purchase Orders, BOM, P&ID, GA drawings, and technical specifications before releasing them for manufacturing or project assembly.
- Conduct outgoing / final inspection (Outbound Quality) of analyzer panels, sampling systems, and integrated packages prior to dispatch, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Conduct Site Surveys prior to bidding for the revamp/refurbishment projects to ensure applicable solution is provided.
- Support and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and customer inspections, ensuring system functionality, calibration readiness, and documentation completeness.
- Maintain quality documentation including Material Test Certificates (MTC), inspection reports, calibration certificates, and ensure proper traceability of materials.
- Identify non-conformance (NCR) and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with the company Integrated Management System (IMS) including ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).
- Knowledge of liquid analyzers, including calibration, functional testing, and demonstrating analyzer operation to customers during FAT.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Chemical).
- 2-5 years of experience with proven service revenue growth responsibility.
Skills Required:
- Ability to read and verify engineering drawings such as P&ID, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams, and perform inspection against BOM, technical specifications, and purchase orders.
- Experience in quality documentation control including Material Test Certificates (MTC/TC), inspection reports, calibration certificates, and working knowledge of Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Willingness to relocate across India basis job / company priorities.
- Willingness to travel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Expertise in MS Office. Exposure to Copilot AI tools would be an added advantage.
