Job Overview:
This Chemistry Freshers Job is for the position of Research Trainee – Global Innovation Implementation at Colgate-Palmolive’s India Global Technology Center in Mumbai. The selected candidate will work on oral care product development, prototype preparation, stability monitoring, technology transfer activities, and laboratory testing. The
role provides a two-year learning opportunity focused on innovation, research excellence, and practical industry exposure within a collaborative environment.Responsibilities
- Develop New products in Oral care category as per brief and provide support in technology transfer to manufacturing plants.
- Make and screen prototypes/formulas, monitor stability as per protocol, and analyze products to establish stability/performance data.
- Conduct basic analysis on various Oral Care products (e.g., Rheology, Foam, Physiochemical parameters etc) and document the results as per internal standards.
- Perform all activity related to product development, including Raw material organizing/testing, Batch making, stability analysis, and inventory management, as per standard protocol.
- Daily verification and calibration of basic equipment.
- Act as an integral part of EOHS & Quality standards to ensure the safety and quality of products and the working environment.
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc in Chemistry, M.Pharm, or M.Tech Cosmetics/Oil-Oleo Chemical Technologies.
- Strong fundamental knowledge in basic chemistry.
- Fair to good exposure to techniques and instrumentation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e., Sheets, Slides, Docs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Formulation lab experience.
