Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve formulations used in the Metals market.
- Enhance product performance, safety, and quality based on customer needs.
- Conduct laboratory testing, benchmarking, and product evaluations.
- Perform customer-requested product analysis and troubleshooting.
- Participate in product development projects with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
- Provide analytical support and technical expertise to customers.
- Visit customer sites when required to support commercial activities.
- A chemist must ensure laboratory equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operated safely.
- Contribute to research and development projects with internal and external stakeholders.
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry or higher qualification.
- Academic background in Physical Chemistry preferred.
- Academic background in Organic Chemistry preferred.
- Knowledge of Colloid Chemistry is advantageous.
- Interest in Metallurgy and Surface Science is desirable.
