Job Overview
Zydus is recruiting for the positions of Research Associate Job and Sr Scientific Assistant in its API R&D Pilot Plant at Ankleshwar, Gujarat. The selected candidates will support process development, manufacturing operations, equipment handling, documentation, SAP activities, material management, quality

Requirements
- Qualification: M.Sc (Industrial / Organic chemistry) / B.E (Chemical)
- Experience: 2 to 6 years
Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing operations as per the Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
- Follow entry and exit procedures for manufacturing and pharmaceutical areas.
- Operate reactors, filtration equipment, dryers, and powder processing equipment.
- Execute charging and discharging of materials according to approved procedures.
- Perform cleaning of equipment as per SOPs and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements and safety protocols.
- Review equipment status and activity logbooks regularly.
- Verify raw materials, packing materials, and intermediates received from the warehouse.
- Maintain proper storage and segregation of materials in manufacturing areas.
- Perform visual cleanliness verification before starting operations.
- Conduct sampling of in-process materials and intermediates for QC analysis.
- Handle packing and labeling of intermediates and drug substances.
- Operate utility systems as required during manufacturing activities.
- Perform calibration and verification of pH meters and weighing balances.
- Support preventive maintenance and calibration schedules.
- Prepare batch manufacturing records, cleaning records, and process documentation.
- Create process orders and maintain transactions in SAP.
- Generate material requisition slips for production requirements.
- Maintain online batch records during operations.
- Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Report operational issues, deviations, safety concerns, and quality risks to management.
