Job Overview
Deepak Nitrite is hiring Field Operators – Production for its Dahej manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat. The selected candidates will be responsible for executing field operations, monitoring equipment performance, coordinating with panel operators, handling chemicals safely
, collecting process samples, supporting startup and shutdown activities, maintaining operational records, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines. This Production Operator role is ideal for professionals looking to advance their careers in chemical manufacturing and process plant operations. To perform the field-related activities at the plant as per the communication with the panel operator, handling chemical-related activities, proper and smooth shift handover and take over, maintaining the equipment with troubleshooting, taking samples for testing, maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines.- Job Post: Field Operator – Production
- Location: DAHEJ, Bharuch, Gujarat, India
- Experience: 3 – 6 Years
Responsibility:
- Work in the plant as per standard operating procedures.
- Monitor the field instruments & performance of machinery and give feedback on abnormality to supervisors & record the same in the logbook & log sheet.
- Shift Charge Hand Over/take over.
- Collect samples of various streams and ensure the quality as per specification; if there is any deviation, then take necessary actions.
- Take appropriate actions with the Panel Operator in case of an emergency.
- Check the performance of safety facilities like showers, eye washes, and body wash facilities as per the checklist.
- Startup / Shutdown as per operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Chemical / Petrochemical
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the related domain
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of plant operation with a proper & detailed understanding of startup & shut down procedure.
- Knowledge of handling chemicals with an understanding of MSDS.
- Detailed understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Well-versed and skilled with safety & Firefighting guidelines and abiding by them.
