Job Overview
The Research Chemist – Analytical R&D role focuses on supporting method development, validation, and routine analytical testing. The candidate will work on pharmaceutical and agrochemical projects involving impurity profiling, stability studies, and regulatory documentation. This role is highly suitable for candidates seeking Organic Chemistry Jobs with strong exposure to instrumentation and quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical method development, validation, and transfer as per regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Handle and troubleshoot analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and LC-MS.
- Support stability studies, impurity profiling, and degradation studies.
- Prepare and review analytical documentation, including SOPs, test methods, protocols, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with process chemistry, formulation, and quality teams to support project requirements.
- Maintain laboratory instruments, calibration, and data integrity.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections as required.
Qualification & Experience
- Education: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related discipline.
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in Analytical R&D, preferably in pharmaceutical or agrochemical industries.
- Hands-on experience with method development and validation is mandatory.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation.
- Understanding of ICH guidelines, GMP, and GLP practices.
- Good documentation and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Background
- Experience in pharma or agrochemical Analytical R&D labs.
- Exposure to regulatory filings and audit support will be an added advantage.
