Responsibilities
- Promotes, develops, and implements quality assurance procedures and systems to improve and maintain quality.
- Provides testing of raw materials, production batches, and finished products using standard (quality) procedures to meet specifications.
- Manages retained sample control and administration, including related document collection, filing, and disposal.
- Maintains technical information by retaining accurate records and maintaining verification/calibration procedures.
- Supports in customer and internal quality audits.
- Supports in implementing new methods of test and the testing of new products, which includes Critical Testing for Quality and Predictive Test Methods.
- Supports the process to maintain quality certifications (e.g., ISO & IATF).
- Generates quality information by preparing required reports and maintaining relevant records.
- Provides assistance, gives advice, and distributes information to customers, suppliers, sales, and internal departments related to product quality.
- Actively deploys ALPS foundations and ALPS Quality Management primary processes, with high priority.
- Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures regarding personal conduct, HSE, and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards.
