- Position Details: Walk-in interview for the position of Junior Research Fellow is scheduled. The fellowship is initially for a period of two years.

Subject/Discipline:
- Chemistry/Material Science/Polymer Science
- Chemical Engineering or Technology/Material Science & Engineering/Polymer Science or Engineering or Technology
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline (basic sciences) in first division with NET qualification
- Graduate degree in professional course (B.E./B.Tech.) in relevant discipline in first division with NET/GATE. OR
- Post Graduate degree in professional course (M.E./M.Tech.) in relevant discipline in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level
Date & Time of Interview: 30.06.2026 (Tuesday) 0900 hrs
Age Limit: Maximum age is 28 years as on date of interview. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. OBC candidates in the creamy layer are not eligible for age relaxation.
Fellowship Stipend: ₹ 37,000/- per month (1st & 2nd year) for JRF. Contingency grant up to ₹ 15,000/- per annum for the first two years, potentially increasing to ₹ 20,000/- for subsequent years. Eligible for HRA as per Government rules.
Benefits: Junior Research Fellows are not eligible for DA, CCA, Bonus, Retirement benefits, etc. Eligible for medical facilities for self-only through MI Room facility on campus.
Additional Information: Award of fellowship does not confer any right for employment in DRDO. Director, DMSRDE reserves the right not to select any candidate if suitable candidates are not available.
