Job Overview:
Vishay Intertechnology is seeking skilled professionals for Executive-Material Development Engineering roles at its Pune (Loni Kalbhor) location. The role focuses on raw material analysis, material development, failure analysis, reverse engineering, formulation development, and analytical testing for semiconductor and electronic component applications. Candidates experienced in analytical chemistry, plastics, metals, electrical insulating compounds, and semiconductor materials are encouraged to apply for these Chemistry jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incoming quality analysis of raw materials
- Characterization and development of alternate sources of raw materials.
- Reverse engineering/Bench marking of competitor product material design
- Failure analysis of electronic components
- Material development for new product development
- Record keeping and report preparation
- Developing new test methods for physical/chemical analysis of materials.
- Developing new formulations of electrical insulating compounds
- Studying interactions of plastic metals, insulating compounds on electronic component reliability performance
- Studying research articles and application of research concepts in material development for electronic component design improvements.
Educational Requirements:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in Chemical, Physical analysis of plastics, metals, packaging items, chemicals, Formulation of epoxy, Silicone, PU potting electrical insulating compounds.
Skills Required:
- Use of Analytical Equipment like SEM/EDX, AAS, FTIR, DSC, Rheometer
- Use of statistical tools for standardization of test method, optimization of electrical insulation compound designs.
- Materials used for SMD tantalum capacitor, semiconductor technology
- Willing to work hands-on without support of any assistant.
- Should have strong observation power and analytical mindset.
- Should be well-versed with statistical tools.
- Awareness about RoHS, REACH compliance, IMDS document preparation will be an added advantage.
- Should be well-versed with the use of common computer apps like Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
