Job Description
This Quality Executive Job Guwahati under Sika Careers involves handling QA QC Job responsibilities in a construction chemicals plant. Candidates will ensure quality control of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods while maintaining compliance with ISO standards. - Qualification: BSc. or MSc. in Chemistry.
- Experience: 2 – 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Quality of Raw Materials, Intermediates, Finished Goods, and Packing materials pertaining to the Construction Chemicals Plant as per the QC specification.
- To generate a Certificate of Analysis for all the batches produced.
- Maintain control of samples of all the FG and raw materials with tracking records.
- Preparation of a lab batch of finished goods when required.
- Ensure and help out with the timely calibration of instruments used in QC testing.
- To ensure compliance with ISO Standards.
- To ensure the availability of the Material Safety Data Sheet of materials pertaining to the Construction Chemicals Plant.
- To ensure and help with compliance for all kinds of audits done in the laboratory.
- To maintain records pertaining to QC testing of all the materials related to Production in the Construction Chemicals Plant.
- To maintain a file for the raw material certificate of analysis, monthwise.
- Excel entries for finished goods / raw materials and to generate daily reports.
- To ensure resources in the laboratory to make sure that there is no delay in productivity due to delays in testing.
- Investigation of customer complaints for root cause analysis.
- Ensure the highest standard of Safety in the laboratory at all times.
- Maintain details pertaining to reprocess and rework with documented records on a monthly basis.
- The weight of the finished products is cross-checked on a daily basis, randomly. Cross verification on a daily basis and records are in place.
- To train lab technicians for all the activities pertaining to QC and maintain regular housekeeping in the QC Lab.
- Responsible for FIFO (first-in and First-out) for RM & FG.
- Responsible for Maintaining Traceability of RM, PM, and FG.
- Handling Quality issues and modifications.
- Generate and analyze MIS reports.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure effective utilization of laboratory equipment in the lab.
- To maintain lab consumables, record on a monthly basis.
- Ensure continual improvements in the testing procedures of raw material, packing material, and finished goods.
- Maintain details pertaining to reprocess and rework with documented records on a monthly basis.
- The weight of the finished products is cross-checked on a daily basis, randomly. Cross verification on a daily basis, and records are in place.
- To train lab technicians for all the activities pertaining to QC and maintain regular housekeeping in the QC Lab.
- Ensure and maintain overall cleanliness of Tools, equipment, and good housekeeping in the work area, ensure everyone in the laboratory wears relevant PPE while working, and develop a safety culture not only in the lab but also in the plant.
