Position Overview

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the area of organic synthetic transformations. Successful candidates will work under the supervision of Dr. Vinayakumar Kanchupalli for a duration of two years. The project focuses on the “Design and Synthesis of novel Alkylidene Based bis-Heterocycles via Transition-Metal Catalysis or Photocatalysis.” This Junior Research Fellow role under UoH Careers

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates with NET or NET-JRF qualification will be preferred.
  • The applicant must hold (or be in the final stages of completing) a Master’s degree or relevant degree in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry.
  • A strong interest in organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms is essential.
  • Prior experience in transition-metal catalysis or photo catalysis will be considered an added advantage.
