- Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

- Project Title: Development of bio-based terminal cyclic carbonate via CO2 capture and conversion in a semi-continuous process.

- Principal Investigator Details: Prof. Sujit Sen
- Co-Principal Investigator Details: Prof. Vaibhav V Goud
- Number of Posts: 01 (One)
- Tenure of Post: Year 1 & 2: INR 37,000.00 per month (+ HRA if applicable)
- Year 3: INR 42,000.00 per month (+ HRA if applicable)
Educational Qualification & Working Knowledge:
- Essential Qualification(s):
- M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering OR M.Sc. in Chemistry or any related branch with minimum 60% of marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
- Candidates with M.E./M.Tech./M.S. should have a valid GATE score.
- Candidates with an M.Sc. degree should have valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR-JRF qualification or equivalent fellowship.
- Experience:
- Hands-on experience in wet lab experimentation and analysis.
- Sound knowledge of analytical methods such as GC/HPLC, FTIR, UV Vis spectroscopy, etc.
- Experience in handling reactors and synthesis in lab-scale.
Desirable Qualification: Strong preference for candidates interested in pursuing Ph.D. at NIT Rourkela. Candidates with clear research motivation and long-term commitment to doctoral studies will be prioritized.
