Job Details

The Research Associate Job at NISER Bhubaneswar is offered under the DST-funded project “Odisha Hydrogen Valley Innovation Cluster” in the School of Chemical Sciences. This NISER Vacancy is a temporary position aimed at candidates seeking a PhD Chemistry Job in government-funded research. The role involves contributing to advanced research activities while working in a highly collaborative academic environment with exposure to innovation and scientific development. Indian nationals are invited for an Online Interview (through Google Meet) on 28.04.2026 at 3.00 PM for a temporary position of Research Associate-I under the project “Odisha Hydrogen Valley Innovation Cluster” in the School of Chemical Sciences, NISER, Bhubaneswar, funded by DST, Govt of India.

  • Essential Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry from a recognized institute.
  • Monthly Emoluments: ₹58,000/- pm plus HRA as per rules
  • Age Limit: 35 years as on 24.04.2026, with age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules.

Contract Duration:

The position is purely temporary for a period of 7 months (likely to extend for one year, subject to availability of funds) or completion of the project, whichever is earlier, and is strictly co-terminus with the project. This position does not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for consideration/absorption against any NISER post.
