Project Overview:
This Research Fellowship under IISER Bhopal Vacancy is offered in the Department of Chemical Engineering for a project on “Coupled Dynamics of Active Particles and Vesicle Membrane Deformation.” The role involves working in interdisciplinary areas such as soft matter physics, colloidal systems, membrane mechanics, and complex fluids. Minimum Qualifications:
- BE/ME/M.Tech/MS (by Research) in Chemical Engineering/Technology or any allied branches of chemical engineering with a qualified score in GATE. Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST) in their bachelor’s and master’s. Please note that the candidates with master’s degrees must have done a bachelor’s in relevant engineering/technology disciplines.
- Master’s degree in Chemistry/Physics with a valid score in GATE/CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship). Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks (or 6.5 Grade Point out of 10) (55%/6 CGPA for SC/ST) in their master’s.
Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in experimental active matter systems, theoretical modeling, coarse-grained simulations, or image analysis will be given preference.
