- Position: QC Chemist – Raw Material Testing
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry), B.Pharma
- Experience Required: 2 to 3 Years (Cosmetic / Pharma / Personal Care Industry Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Raw Material (RM) testing as per approved specifications and SOPs
- Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of incoming raw materials
- Verify Certificate of Analysis (COA) before approving materials
- Approve or reject raw materials based on QC standards
- Maintain laboratory documentation in compliance with GMP & GLP guidelines
- Ensure proper sampling, labeling, and storage of raw materials
- Manage retention samples and maintain testing records
- Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance records of lab instruments
- Coordinate with QA, R&D, Purchase, and Production departments
- Support internal audits and external regulatory inspections
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Raw Material Testing in the Cosmetic or Pharmaceutical Industry
- Understanding of GMP, GLP & regulatory documentation practices
- Hands-on experience with lab instruments (pH meter, Viscometer, Moisture Analyzer, etc.)
- Experience in COA verification and vendor documentation
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy
- Basic ERP and MS Excel knowledge
- Ability to work in a manufacturing setup
