- Project Title: Lime-free conversion of Green liquor (soda pulping) to NaOH without solid waste generation, reduced water consumption, minimized carbon footprint, and particulate emissions approaching Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)

Position Details
- Project Position and Number: Research Associate (RA) – ONE
- Qualifications and Experience: Ph.D. in Chemical / Polymer, or allied Eng./Tech. with experience in electro membrane synthesis/characterization for potential use in ED, electrolyzer, fuel cell, etc.
- Emoluments: RA: Rs. 50,000/- pm (consolidated). The post is initially up to Nov. 15, 2026, and may be extended upon project completion with approval from BEE based on the candidate’s performance.
- Duration: 07 months
Job Description
Responsibilities include membrane synthesis, process development/optimization, adopting various chemical/mechanical/electrical tools, electrochemistry/membrane synthesis, report making, etc.
