Applications are invited for the contractual position of Quality Assurance (QA) Manager / Project Scientist.

- Duration and Emoluments per Month: 06 Months (Extension Based on Performance): 48,000 + 8% HRA
- Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working in a NABL-accredited laboratory.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in food testing and Quality Assurance/manufacturing
- Familiarity with quality assurance/quality control systems, ISO:17025:2017, ISO:9001:2018
- Experience in external food safety or quality audits.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years (relaxation of 5 years for women/SC/ST/OBC/differently abled as per the govt. of India Rules).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of QA/QC systems for fortified rice as per FSSAI guidelines. Provide hands-on training to rice millers, FRK manufacturers, premix suppliers, and food testing labs on quality standards.
- Conduct assessments of rice mills and suggest technical modifications to meet fortification quality standards.
- Assist in the development and deployment of digital QA/QO platforms; recommend program improvements.
- Develop technical SOPs/WI/format for certification of premix and FRK manufacturers.
- Conduct technical sessions, workshops, and presentations on rice fortification best practices.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to reporting, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi preferred.
