Job Purpose

  • Issue Work Permits for non-routine activities and ensure compliance with PTW conditions.
  • Participate in internal audits related to PTW.
  • Revise the Onsite Emergency Response Plan based on process changes and legal requirements.
  • Assist in incident investigations and develop Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure compliance of Emergency Equipment across the site.
  • Coordinate and conduct Mock and Evacuation Drills and follow up on action items.
  • Update Operating Procedures/Guidelines for Emergency Equipment.
  • Monitor Fire Hydrant Pump House operations.
  • Ensure ERT availability during shift operations.
  • Conduct gap analysis in Emergency Management.
  • Assist in KAVACH implementation initiatives.
  • Deliver PEP Talks and Toolbox Talks (TBT).
  • Identify unsafe acts/conditions and support investigations.
  • Monitor production and warehouse safety activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Support the Shift In-charge/Incident Controller in emergencies.
  • Organize employee engagement activities for safety awareness.

Educational Qualification

BSc/MSc (Chemistry/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Zoology) with Diploma in Industrial Safety
