Key Responsibilities
- Perform Raw Material (RM) testing as per approved specifications and SOPs
- Conduct physical, chemical, and analytical testing of incoming raw materials
- Verify Certificate of Analysis (COA) before approving materials
- Approve or reject raw materials based on QC standards
- Maintain QC documentation in compliance with GMP & GLP guidelines
- Ensure proper sampling, labeling, and storage of materials
- Manage retention samples and maintain testing records
- Coordinate with QA, Production, Purchase, and R&D teams
- Assist in internal audits and external regulatory inspections
- Ensure timely release of raw materials to support production schedules
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Raw Material Testing in the Cosmetic or Pharmaceutical Industry
- Understanding of GMP, GLP & regulatory documentation practices
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments (pH meter, Viscometer, Moisture Analyzer, etc.)
- Experience in COA verification and vendor documentation
- Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail
- Good reporting and documentation skills
- Basic ERP and MS Excel knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment
Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry), B.Pharma
Experience Required: 2 to 3 Years (Cosmetic / Pharma / Personal Care Industry Preferred)
