Program Details
We can support ONLY up to 15 undergraduate students of the Chemical Engineering course (after completion of the Third Year of the UG course) to spend their summer vacation with us and work on Chemical Engineering-related research under the supervision of our Chemical Engineering faculty.
Duration
The internships are for a period of ONLY 6 (SIX) weeks, typically starting by mid-May and continuing till the end of June. Any student from the Chemical Engineering Program after their Third Year is eligible to apply.
Application Process for Chemical Engineering Summer Internship
Interested students must apply by filling out the Google form on or before 31st March 2026. The form contains:
- (I) Personal Details
- (II) Resume with photograph
- (III) All earlier semester marks
- (IV) HSC & SSC Marks
- (V) NOC from their Head of Department/Institute
- (VI) A statement of less than 500 words about their motivation to pursue a summer research internship at ICT-Mumbai
- (VII) Undertaking (format of ICT Mumbai)
The final list of selected candidates will be intimated on the website on or before 15th April, 2026.
Important Notes
- Master’s students of any degree course are NOT permitted to apply.
- Hostel accommodation is not available for the Summer Internship, and students need to organize their own.
- Students will be responsible for all the expenses incurred during the internship.
- Students must check the availability of accommodation outside ICT before they apply for the internship.
- The students from all three campuses of ICT are NOT eligible to apply.
- The decision of the undersigned (Head of Department of Chemical Engineering, ICT Mumbai) shall be final, and no further communication shall be entertained.
