Postdoctoral Researcher in Photoinduced Ultrafast Dynamics
A Postdoctoral researcher position is available in the Ultrafast Spectroscopy Research Group of Prof. Partha Pratim Roy at IIT Gandhinagar for
an experimental research project focused on studying the photoinduced dynamics and materials properties enabling advancement in solar energy conversion and optoelectronics.Position Details:
- Position open: Immediately
- Duration: Initial appointment for 1 year (extendable based on performance)
- Stipend: 72,000 INR per month (consolidated)
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will:
- Synthesize and characterize organic solar energy and optoelectronic molecules.
- Conduct cutting edge time-resolved spectroscopy study to explore ultrafast photoinduced dynamics.
- Mentor master’s and PhD students and contribute to manuscript writing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A consistently good academic record (a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th).
- Ph.D. degree (or thesis submitted) in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science.
- Candidates with synthetic expertise in organic optoelectronic systems such as perovskites, quantum dots, and thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters will be given preference.
