Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Project Research
Scientist I (non-medical) at BIT Mesra, Ranchi. The selected individual will conduct research related to assigned projects, perform data collection and analysis, and assist in preparing reports and publications. Responsibilities also include collaborating with team members to achieve project goals, staying updated with the latest developments in the relevant domain, and ensuring adherence to research protocols and ethical standards.Qualifications
- Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry (Thesis in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry) OR M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or M.Sc in Organic Chemistry (Thesis in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry) with a minimum of two years of research experience in an institute/Industry (custom synthesis)
- Prior research experience and familiarity with laboratory protocols are advantageous
- Proficiency in conducting research, experimentation, and data analysis using the R package
- Strong skills in scientific writing, report preparation, and publication
- Ability to utilize computational tools and software relevant to research (AutoDock, AMBER, GROMACS)
- Knowledge of current developments in science and technology within the applicable domain
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and critical evaluation abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
