Research Fellowships at IISER Mohali | Chemistry Grads Apply

Are you looking for Research Fellowships at a leading institute in India? IISER Mohali Jobs offer an exciting opportunity for motivated researchers to work on a DBT-funded interdisciplinary project focused on protein folding dynamics and auditory biophysics. This IISER Careers opening is ideal for candidates interested in cutting-edge single-molecule research and PhD pathways.

About IISER Mohali

We are an interdisciplinary research group committed to quantitatively understanding biology using single-molecule techniques. For the past decade, our group at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali has been exploring the biophysical principles underlying hearing, employing experimental biophysics, precision instrumentation, and molecular biology.

  • Job Title: Application for the post of a JRF/SRF in a research project funded by the DBT, India
  • Deadline for Full Application: 15th February, 2026
  • Project Title: Deciphering protein folding dynamics under oscillatory mechanical perturbations

This is a strongly interdisciplinary project, combining experimental biophysics, precision instrumentation, and molecular biology. Our aim is to develop oscillatory force probes to directly investigate how auditory systems sense and discriminate force frequency and amplitude, a fundamental question in hearing research.
