2Essential Qualifications and Fellowship:
- Project Associate-I / Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Masterās degree in Environmental Science, Physics, Climate Change, Chemistry, Maths, Medical Sciences, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, or equivalent from a reputed University/Institute, or Masterās degree in Engineering or Technology.
- Fellowship:
- Rs. 37,000 plus HRA (Total: 46,990/=) for Scholars selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests ā CSIR-UGC NET, including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by the Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
- Rs. 31,000 plus HRA (Total: 39,370/=) for others who do not fall under (i) above means without NET/GATE (for PA).
Desirable: Knowledge/experience in interdisciplinary research and policy formulation in the climate change and air quality domains.Ā Experience in GIS and advanced graphic software.
Tenure: The initial appointment will be for one year, extendable on an annual basis based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funds.
