Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and assist in routine use of various mass spectrometry platforms (e.g., LCMS, GCMS) under established protocols.
- Support sample preparation and processing, including extraction, dilution, derivatization, and cleanup techniques as required for analysis.
- Perform routine calibration, tuning, performance checks, and basic maintenance of mass spectrometers and associated analytical instruments.
- Assist in data acquisition, preliminary analysis, and documentation of experimental results.
- Maintain and organize laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, balances, pH meters, freezers, and other general lab instruments.
- Ensure the availability of laboratory consumables, reagents, and chemicals by tracking inventory and coordinating procurement.
- Maintain accurate records of reagents, consumables, instrument usage, maintenance logs, and experimental data (electronic and paper-based).
- Follow laboratory SOPs, QA/QC practices, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements.
