Research Chemist Jobs. Scimplify is hiring a Research Chemist – Analytical R&D for its specialty chemicals manufacturing facility in Anekal, near Bengaluru. This role offers early-career analytical chemists a strong opportunity to work on pharmaceutical and agrochemical projects, focusing on method development, validation, regulatory compliance, and advanced analytical instrumentation.
Role Overview
Scimplify is seeking a Research Chemist – Analytical R&D to support analytical method development, validation, and routine analysis for pharmaceutical and agrochemical projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in analytical techniques and a strong understanding of regulatory and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical method development, validation, and transfer as per regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Handle and troubleshoot analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and LC-MS.
- Support stability studies, impurity profiling, and degradation studies.
- Prepare and review analytical documentation, including SOPs, test methods, protocols, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with process chemistry, formulation, and quality teams to support project requirements.
- Maintain laboratory instruments, calibration, and data integrity.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections as required.
Qualification & Experience
Education: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry
/ Organic Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related discipline.Experience: 1–5 years of experience in Analytical R&D, preferably in pharmaceutical or agrochemical industries.
Hands-on experience with method development and validation is mandatory.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation.
- Understanding of ICH guidelines, GMP, and GLP practices.
- Good documentation and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Background
- Experience in pharma or agrochemical Analytical R&D labs.
- Exposure to regulatory filings and audit support will be an added advantage.
