Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of sophisticated instruments, i.e., GC, HPLC, UV, ICP, Autotitrator, etc.
- Preparation and standardization of chemical reagents.
- Familiar with wet/chemical analysis.
- Should be working in shift.
- Familiar with SAP/ERP systems.
- Maintaining records, i.e., log book, registers, etc.
- Inventory of laboratory chemicals & glassware.
- Plant sample logistics.
- Should be awareness of workplace safety, housekeeping & MSDS of chemicals.
- Awareness/Familiarity with QMS, i.e., ISO, NABL, etc., is an added advantage.
- Interpersonal relations with the interdepartmental & other departments.
Education Qualification:
- M. Sc / B. Sc.
Deliverables:
- Perform Raw Material/In process and finished goods sampling and inspection of components and chemicals, including gases, as per approved procedures and specifications.
- Ensure that all test equipment is available and functioning to meet raw material and finished good specifications.
- Read, understand, and follow SOPs and comply with the set standards.
- Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Complete daily appropriate documentation supporting testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, inventory forms, etc.
- Execute procedures carefully and accurately to eliminate errors.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Implement good laboratory practices at all times.
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in M. Sc
- 1 to 4 years of experience in B.Sc.
Knowledge:
- Basic chemistry knowledge.
- Familiar with computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of instrument software.
