Title of Project: Advancing Regional Climate Resilience: AI Monitoring of Lentic Water Bodies for Greenhouse Gas Mitigation

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/pm + HRA as per Institute rules
Required Qualifications:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.Sc/M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering, Land and Water Resources Engineering, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Environmental Science, Hydrology, Water Resources Development and Management, Remote Sensing and GIS or M.Tech (*) in relevant discipline with GATE/NET.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in AI/ML, LWB assessment, nutrient degradation, GHG emissions, remote sensing/GIS, and Python/RMATLAB. Strong knowledge of water chemistry and water treatment. Hands-on lab experience in formulation preparation, stability testing, water quality analysis, and formulation development (cosmetics/personal care, water treatment chemicals, FMCG, nutraceutical/food premixes), with ability to interpret experimental results.
(*) Academic/Field/Research experience and qualification in: Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Engineering)/ Water Resources/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Natural Resources and allied branches.

Job Description: LWB monitoring and assessment, Field investigation of LWBs, Lab experiments, Nutrients and GHG emissions monitoring, Remote sensing data processing, and preparation of reports.
