Minimum Prescribed Educational Qualifications:
Master’s/Integrated Master’s in Natural Sciences/Chemical Sciences (Chemistry) from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualifications duly recognized by the concerned authority as per the functional requirement.
Desirable Qualification/Experience:
M.Sc. in Organic or Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized University. Candidates with hands-on experience in catalysis and catalyst synthesis will be given preference.
Age Limit:
35 years
Job Requirement:
The student is expected to develop transition metal-based homogeneous catalysts, organometallic
catalysts, and perform catalytic reactions involving CO₂ capture.Consolidated Emoluments per Month:
(i) ₹31,000 + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET, including lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE or national-level examinations conducted by Central Government departments such as DBT/DST or equivalent.
(ii) ₹25,000 + HRA for others.

Additional Job Requirement:
The candidate is expected to synthesize nanoparticles and perform their characterization. The work will involve optimizing conditions for CO₂ capture, studying phase behavior, and assessing the efficiency and selectivity of CO₂ uptake. Structural and physicochemical characterization using SCXRD, PXRD, thermal analysis, and spectroscopic techniques will be required.
