Job Role

The Quality Services team (LS-QS) is the face to customers and is dedicated to solving customer problems by providing support for Inquiries and Knowledge Management, strategic accounts

, Customer Agreements, and process development. LS-BER-Q, an extended part of the global quality services (LS-QS) team, supports the various functions internally. This position will support the Customer Inquiry and Knowledge Service team.

  • Is responsible for customer quality and regulatory inquiry support and processing based on prescribed workflows. Business partner for the Commercial and Business Areas for customer inquiry processing. Is responsible for documenting and updating Q&R Knowledge as it pertains to Customer Q&R Inquiry Processes.
  • Utilizes e-tools used to manage inquiry processes & data, and to support trending/reporting. Handles inquiries and subject matter of low to medium complexity independently.
  • Accountable for the quality of one’s own work. Receives clear instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior-level roles or even solves problems of low complexity independently by identifying and selecting solutions and by analyzing factual information.
  • Performs routine assignments using existing procedures or even works autonomously within established procedures and practices that require knowledge of concepts and procedures within a job discipline or specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process.
  • Potentially SME for a specific portion of the product portfolio or inquiry topic (including product technology and application). Basic to good understanding of relevant quality & regulatory guidelines for the portfolio in the primary scope. Possess knowledge of Company/ Millipore Sigma’s products and industry applications in the primary scope.
  • Contributes to or even impacts the results of the own team. Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions, and checks for understanding.
  • Handling customer inquiries according to ASK workflows. The main focus is on SDS-related topics; however, one should have knowledge of other transactional topics, too.
  • Ensure that the queries are handled as per agreed timelines regarding acknowledgement, follow-up, and case closure. Conducting an Internal quality check. Develop and maintain performance tracking metrics.
  • Knowledge on M-Clarity Tool (Palantir): MQ Markers and other attributes, Export function.
  • Take responsibility as an ASK journalist. Maintain and regularly review existing pages. Create a new ASK page for a new process/workflow.
  • Handle customer inquiries in SFDC, follow SFDC best practices, and understand case routing rules.
  • Use CCNS to identify change control agreements with customers. Retrieve material data from various sources, e.g:
    • Search for the status of Products in BOXI and interpret the results.
    • Should be able to use the t-codes MM03, MSC3N in SAP P16.
    • Should be able to use the t-codes MM03, ZPRD, MSC3N, MSC5N, ZMSDS, SAP PRE, and PRD.
    • Should be able to use the t-codes CG02, CG50 in SAP P24.
  • Regularly exchange knowledge with teammates and support the training of new team members.

Requirements

  • Science degree: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related Scientific discipline.
  • Work experience in a quality-related field, e.g., QA/QC or related.
  • Computer skills, including experience with MS Office.
  • Previous experience in working with customers, e.g., customer support or related field.
  • Computer skills, including experience with MS Excel and maybe database software.
  • Ability to interact in a global team, in a matrixed organization.
