About The Role
We are looking for an apprentice trainee in the Quality department who is ready to learn and support work related to the QC/QA team. The main duties include collecting testing samples, preparing them for analysis, preparing reagents, running routine lab tests, and assisting in R&D trials. The role requires following all standards and procedures of the quality department.
Responsibilities
- Assist the QC/QA Team in preparing samples for testing using various types of laboratory equipment
- Label specimens accurately and distribute them to the appropriate department
- Perform quality control as directed by the Lab chemist/officers
- Assist in performing QC/QA-related analysis and perform the activities
- Support in getting a sampling of raw materials, packing materials
- Maintain safety and hygiene standards in the quality department
- Assist in preparing or storing samples for officers and logging data
- Assist in coordinating and placing orders for inventory supplies needed in the lab
- Assume responsibility for equipment/general lab areas maintenance
- Update routine quality records of chemical supply usage
- Prepare chemical waste disposal forms, reagents, and experiment solutions
- Record climatic conditions like humidity and temperature requirements in the lab
- Conduct experiments under defined conditions/methods to verify/reject PM/RM
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of laboratory records
