Job Post: Distributed Control System Operator
Role: DCS Engineer
Location: Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, India
Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Process Control or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years as a DCS Operator. Greenfield project experience will be an added advantage.
Job Purpose
To ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the carbon black manufacturing process by monitoring and controlling Distributed Control System (DCS) operations during shifts.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
Operate and monitor process parameters through the DCS system to maintain stable and efficient plant performance.
Respond to alarms and deviations by taking corrective actions promptly.
Ensure product quality and yield targets are met as per defined specifications.
Identify abnormal process trends and assist in troubleshooting operational issues.
Support maintenance teams during equipment breakdowns, ensuring safe isolation and restoration.
Provide technical inputs for root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring issues.
Assist the Shift In-charge in coordinating production activities across units.
Ensure smooth startups, shutdowns, and emergency handling via DCS operations.
Maintain continuous communication with field operators for effective coordination.
