Role Overview
The candidate will support organic synthesis and biocatalysis R&D activities, working closely with the enzyme engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform organic synthesis and support reaction setup, monitoring, and optimization
• Conduct substrate preparation and product conversion studies for enzyme-based
reactions
• Collaborate with enzyme engineering and biocatalysis teams
• Maintain accurate lab records and ensure safety compliance
• Assist in analytical sample preparation and testing
Required Skills & Qualifications
• B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry with strong organic/synthetic chemistry background
• Good understanding of reaction mechanisms and organic transformations
• Hands-on experience with bench chemistry and lab-scale synthesis
• Strong interest in biocatalysis and enzyme-based chemistry
• Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
