Position Available:
Tea Research Association is seeking candidates for three (03) Research Fellow positions under
a project sponsored by the Rainforest Alliance, New York City, New York, USA, entitled “Sustainable tea pest management in Assam: An IPM taskforce initiative.” These positions are available in the Entomology Department at the Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam.Research Fellow – Chemistry/Soil Science
- Number of Posts: 1 (One)
- Age Limit: 28 years
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Chemistry / Soil Science
- Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Knowledge about tea soil, experience in soil physical, chemical, and biological analysis, interpretation of results, report preparation, etc.
- Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- (fixed)
- Job Responsibility: Conduct field experiments, collect soil samples from trial fields, process, analyze, and prepare reports.
- Location: Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam
Project Duration: 1 Year

- The above posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the time/project.
- A walk-in interview will be held on 04.12.2025 at 10 A.M. for the selection of candidates.
- Candidates should bring the completed application form along with the required documents (photocopies of qualification certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates, date of birth, etc.).
- No TA/DA or any other expenses will be provided for attending the interview.
