Job Summary
This position is ideally suited for an experienced professional seeking to work within a dynamic team and engage with a wide range of customer application areas. We are seeking a qualified specialist to join our organization, with a primary focus on the implementation and support of material modelling and simulation software. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in computational materials science and demonstrated proficiency in BIOVIA Material Studio or comparable simulation platforms. The role entails extensive travel across India to engage in in-person interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and senior stakeholders within the engineering and research sectors. The incumbent will be responsible for expanding the client base and contributing to the revenue growth of AI-enabled in-silico solutions. Prior exposure to chemical industry R&D workflows and familiarity with Lab Informatics systems such as ELN, LES, and LIMS will be considered advantageous.
Requirements

Sound knowledge of computational physics and chemistry, with a comprehensive understanding of computational chemistry principles.

Proven ability to collaborate with researchers and scientists to facilitate the adoption and deployment of Dassault Systemes BIOVIA material science simulation platforms.

Experience in organizing and conducting training sessions and workshops to educate users on effective software utilization.

Hands-on expertise in the development, demonstration, and implementation of computational workflows and methodologies for materials science simulations.

Practical experience in quantum mechanical methods, including but not limited to DFT (periodic), CAS, CC, MP2, particularly within domains such as catalysis, corrosion, or condensed matter physics.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, with an emphasis on automation and workflow customization.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare technical content for internal and external audiences.

Experience with classical mechanics force-field-based methods (e.g., for polymer systems) will be an added advantage.

Ability to contribute to the documentation of workflows, methodologies, and technical solutions for internal knowledge sharing.

Willingness to travel across India as per project and client engagement requirements.
