Job Description

  • Adhere strictly to cGMP standards and factory safety regulations.
  • Assist in sample preparation and execution of experiments using DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimeter).
  • Support in ensuring raw material availability and equipment readiness prior to experimental runs.
  • Assist in conducting experiments using ARSST (Advanced Reactive System Screening Tool).
  • Support in program preparation and execution of experiments using RC1e (Reaction Calorimeter).
  • Assist in experiments involving RC1e with GEK (Gas Evolution Kit) setup.
  • Coordinate with the team to identify process safety requirements during lab demonstration batches.
  • Assist in developing control programs that simulate worst-case scenarios for plant-scale operations.
  • Support in programming and executing experiments using EasyMax 402.
  • Prepare basic reports related to preliminary screening and hazard evaluations.
  • Follow “Safety by Design” principles during experiment planning and execution.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and ensure cleanliness in fume hoods and lab areas.
  • Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications

  • B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of chemical processes, laboratory practices, and safety procedures.
  • Familiarity with process equipment such as DSC, RC1e, ARSST, and EasyMax will be an added advantage.
  • Strong interest in process safety, reaction engineering, and experimental work.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety and compliance requirements diligently.
