Qualifications:
Minimum prescribed educational qualifications: Master’s Degree in Chemistry from
a recognized university or equivalent.Desirable Qualification/experience:
- Organic synthesis (1 position); Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in multi-step organic synthesis in a research institute or industry.
- Analytical Chemistry (1 position); Candidates experienced in handling HPLC and LC-MS instruments will be given preference.
Age Limit
35 years (The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/women, and 3 years for OBC candidates.)
Job Requirement
- Organic synthesis; Multi-step organic synthesis, analysis, and process development of API on small and large scales.
- Analytical Chemistry; Routine project sample analysis on HPLC and LC-MS instruments.
Consolidated Emoluments per Month
- 31,000/- + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by central government departments like DBT/ DST or equivalent.
- 25,000 + HRA for others who do not fall under the above category.
Additional Information
The engagement will be coterminous with the tenure of the sponsored project subject to satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee. The engagement is purely on a temporary basis and shall not be a CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise, and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim for consideration against any CSIR-NCL post/fellowship.
