Walk-in-Interview for Engagement of Food Analyst (FSSAI Authorized) at QCL, Siliguri
A walk-in interview will be conducted on 04.11.2025 from 11.30 a.m. onward for the engagement
of one Food Analyst (FSSAI Authorized) to work at Quality Control Laboratory (QCL), Tea Board India, Tea Park, Bhola More, behind NJP Rly. Stn, Siliguri-735135.Remuneration
Rs. 56,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Educational Qualification
- Essential: M.Sc. degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or other relevant field and has been declared qualified for engagement as a Food Analyst by the FSSAI.
- Experience: Minimum 02 years of working experience in a NABL-accredited food lab, and knowledge in the analytical field and handling of instruments.
- Age: Not more than 35 years as on 31.10.2025. Relaxation of age as per the Govt. norms will be given to SC, ST, and OBC candidates.
- Leave Eligibility: 18 days in a year.

Interested candidates are requested to appear (in person) in the walk-in interview along with the application form (strictly as per the enclosed format), CV, and self-attested copies of testimonials. Registration for appearing in the interview will be allowed up to 11.00 a.m. only. The candidates are also advised to bring original testimonials for verification. Candidates who have qualified and been authorized as Food Analysts by FSSAI are allowed only to appear for the interview.
Instructions to Candidates
- The engagement will be initially for one year purely on a contract basis reckoned from the date of joining and extendable after one year subject to satisfactory performance and requirement after the end of one year with admissible yearly increment.
- Any canvassing directly or indirectly by the applicant will disqualify his/her candidature.
- The selected candidate will be required to join QCL, Siliguri immediately.
- Tea Board reserves the right to modify/alter/restrict/enlarge/cancel the selection process, without assigning any reason. The decision of the Board will be final and no appeal will be entertained in this matter.
The vacancy in the Tea Board of India is purely temporary/contractual. It doesn’t entitle the appointee to any claim, implicit or explicit, for absorption in the regular service of the Tea Board.
